Would You be Willing to Ride in a Self-Driving Car?

Nearly two-thirds of Americans say they’re afraid to ride in self-driving cars, but that’s far fewer than a year ago. A study Triple-A is releasing today finds 63-percent of people surveyed aren’t ready to hop in a car with no driver. But a similar survey last year showed 78-percent of people questioned said “no thanks” to self-driving cars.

The study found men and millennials are more likely to try the service.

Triple-A has been polling Americans about autonomous vehicles for three years and this first time the fear level has gone down.
