With the touch of a finger, you’ll soon be able to touch a stamp and create your own solar eclipse. The U.S. Postal Service is issuing a first-of-its kind stamp that transforms into an image of the Moon from just the heat of a finger.
The latest in the Forever series, the image will change from a dark image of the eclipse — with the sun’s corona still visible — to the moon with the sun’s corona behind it.
The stamp is intended to commemorate the upcoming August 21steclipse – and will be rolled out June 20th.
Later this summer, tens of millions of people in the United States will get a rare chance to see the first eclipse on the U.S. mainland since 1979. The eclipse will run west to east from Oregon to South Carolina crossing 14 states..
