International Space Station this week.
NASA’s Advance Plant Habitat is an experiment to improve scientists’ understanding of growing plants in space. It’s among the 76-hundred pounds of science gear, cargo, and supplies that will lift off from Cape Canaveral tomorrow. The experiment follows up on earlier research that led to space station astronauts enjoying fresh-grown lettuce in 2015. That earlier experiment, the Vegetable Production System, known as “Veggie,” is still going on.
