Even Pets Are Part Of Family Vacations!

A new survey by Freshpet finds that 35% of pet parents bring their dogs on family vacations. But it’s not just families, with 29% of pet parents saying they’ve gone on road trips with just their pooch alone, and another 39% interested in doing so.

While traveling with just your pet may sound a little lonely, many owners would disagree. Believe it or not, 58% of owners say they pass the time having conversations with their dog, with 68% of women doing so, as opposed to 41% of men.

Other pet facts from the survey include:

• 34% of pet parents have a bucket list for their dog, with traveling the world being the most popular thing on it (26%)

• 36% of dog owners include their animals in holiday cards or family photos

• 26% of pet parents take their dog shopping with them
