Adopt A Mom For Mother’s Day

You can honor moms in a completely different way this Mother’s Day.

The Ark’s Adopt-A-Mom program is gaining traction and you can help it become a success. For 25 dollars, you can adopt a mom in need and give them recognition.

Donors can choose the name of the mom they wish to adopt from a list found on the Ark’s website. Local sponsors donate flowers and cards for the moms, allowing the Ark to place the entire donated amount into a single mothers’ fund that is used throughout the year to help moms in need with their financial difficulties.

Of the almost 220 moms on the Adopt-a-Mom list this year, more than 130 have been adopted by donors. The Ark would like to see the rest be adopted by Wednesday.
