7 Year-Old Girl With Robotic Hand Throws Out 1st Pitch at the World Series

The Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Dodgers faced off Saturday night in Game 4 of the World Series in Houston, Texas. The Dodgers walked away victorious … but the real winner was Hailey Dawson of Henderson, Nevada, who threw out the first pitch.

As you might remember, Hailey is on a quest to throw out the first pitch at every major league ballpark. It’s a big dream, considering Hailey is only 7 years old … and uses a robotic hand due to a congenital defect that left her short three fingers since birth.

Hailey has been on the pro circuit since 2015, when she threw out the first pitch at a Baltimore Orioles game. But things really took off last month, when Bleacher Report tweeted about her dream to toss the first pitch at every park.

This is AWESOME! – Brendon
